Dana White has shown the arena design for the UFC event planned at the White House for America's 250th anniversary. The stage is being constructed in Europe and will be shipped to Philadelphia before being transported by truck to Washington, D.C., where it will be erected on the South Lawn with the White House as the backdrop. White emphasized that UFC is funding the entire event without taxpayer money as a gift to America. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com. Free tickets will be available at the Ellipse, a park across from the arena. More than 100,000 fans are expected to attend events across the fight weekend, which will include a two-day fan festival, press conference, and weigh-in ceremony. The Zac Brown Band will perform throughout the day, and there will be celebrity guests and big-screen fight viewing.
