Conor McGregor has settled his legal dispute with former sparring partner Artem Lobov over the Proper No. Twelve whiskey business. Lobov had filed a lawsuit demanding a share of profits from the brand's sale, with McGregor reportedly selling his stake to Proximo Spirits in 2021 for over $130 million. The case was scheduled for Wednesday at Dublin High Court, but Lobov's attorney informed the judge that the parties reached an agreement. McGregor's attorney read a statement saying McGregor was satisfied with the resolution and could now focus on training for an upcoming summer fight, thanking Lobov for his contribution to the whiskey business. Lobov stated after the hearing that he was happy with the outcome. McGregor was not present at the proceedings and last fought in July 2021 when he lost to Dustin Poirier with a broken leg.
