Quick read
Khamzat Chimaev addressed speculation about whether he would release a submission hold on Sean Strickland in their upcoming fight. When interviewer Adam Zubairaev asked if security would need to separate them if Chimaev got Strickland in a submission, Chimaev laughed and said he doesn't want to kill anyone because it's haram (forbidden in Islam). Zubairaev pressed further, asking if Chimaev was planning to kill Strickland, to which Chimaev responded that he wouldn't be allowed to kill him anyway. Chimaev added that on the street someone might die, but in the cage it's a sport. The comments were made in a lighthearted manner during the interview.
