Quick read
Khamzat Chimaev responded to speculation about whether he would refuse to release a submission hold against Sean Strickland in their upcoming fight. When interviewer Adam Zubairaev asked if security would need to separate them if Chimaev locked in a submission, Chimaev laughed and said he doesn't want to kill anyone because it's haram (forbidden in Islam). Chimaev clarified he has no intention of killing Strickland and noted that officials would not allow him to do so anyway. He added that while someone might die on the street, this is sport inside the cage. The comments address fan concerns about Chimaev's intensity given his past aggressive performances.
