Joel Alvarez and Benoit Saint-Denis train together in France

Joel Alvarez and Benoit Saint-Denis have begun a joint training camp in Bayonne, France, under coach Nicolas Ott. The two lightweights were scheduled to fight each other a year ago, but the bout fell through. Now they are working together to prepare for their respective upcoming fights. Alvarez will face Yaroslav Amosov at UFC 328 on May 9th, while Saint-Denis does not have a fight announced yet. Alvarez mentioned that Saint-Denis contacted him to arrange the training and suggested the Frenchman may be preparing for an opponent with a similar style.
