Burns vs Malott official after successful weigh-in at UFC Winnipeg

The main event of UFC Winnipeg has been officially confirmed after both Gilbert Burns and Mike Malott successfully made weight. Russian fighters Mark Vologdin and Darya Zheleznyakova also weighed in successfully for their bouts. Thiago Moises and John Castaneda required second attempts to make weight but eventually succeeded. Notably, Castaneda had requested a catchweight of 63 kg the previous evening, which Vologdin accepted. As part of the catchweight agreement, Castaneda will forfeit 30% of his purse to Vologdin. All scheduled fights are proceeding as planned.
