Lightweight Nikita Kulshin improved his record to 9-0 by knocking out Junior Melo early in the first round at an LFA event. This was Kulshin's sixth consecutive victory in the LFA promotion over three years, having previously won four straight by decision and his LFA debut by knockout. The 26-year-old fighter from North Ossetia has been living in the United States for four years and trains at Kill Cliff gym. In his post-fight interview, Kulshin called out the UFC, shouting that he is ready to fight on short notice at any time.
