Lightweight Nikita Kulshin improved to 9-0 by knocking out Junior Melo early in the first round at an LFA event. The 26-year-old from North Ossetia has been living in the United States for four years and now has six wins in LFA over three years. After winning his previous four LFA bouts by decision, this marked his second knockout in the promotion. Following the victory, Kulshin grabbed the microphone and called out the UFC, declaring he is ready to fight on short notice at any time. He trains at Kill Cliff gym.
