Dagestan resident fined for ethnic hatred comments in UFC Telegram chat

A 21-year-old man from Dagestan identified as Magomed S. has been fined 10,000 rubles for inciting ethnic hatred in a UFC-related Telegram chat. The Kizlyar District Court heard the case after Center "E" officers discovered offensive comments made three years ago in the UFC Eurasia chat. The defendant wrote derogatory comments about Russians, though he apologized within 90 minutes and stated there are worthy people among Russians. In court, Magomed admitted guilt and expressed remorse, leading to the fine under Article 20.3.1 of the Administrative Code.
