Dagestan resident fined for ethnic hatred comments in UFC Telegram chat

A 21-year-old resident of Dagestan identified as Magomed S. has been fined 10,000 rubles by Kizlyar District Court for inciting ethnic hatred against Russians in a UFC Telegram chat. The case was brought under Article 20.3.1 of the Administrative Code after officers from Center 'E' discovered offensive comments he made three years ago in the UFC Eurasia Telegram chat. Magomed had posted inflammatory remarks during an argument with other users, though he apologized approximately 90 minutes later and acknowledged there are worthy people among Russians. In court, Magomed admitted guilt and expressed remorse for his actions.
