Nemkov was gassing out after just one round in training, which carried over to the Anderson fight where he won the first round but had no energy in the second. After medical consultation and treatment in Thailand before their rematch, doctors identified the root cause and prescribed medication that restored his conditioning. Nemkov has since eliminated all sports supplements from his regimen, relying only on vitamins, and reports feeling no worse without the banned supplements.
