Islam Makhachev highlights construction problems in Dagestan amid flooding

Islam Makhachev has once again drawn attention to Dagestan's construction crisis, calling out haphazard building projects in the region. He has criticized the proliferation of low-quality residential complexes built close together, as well as numerous unauthorized construction projects. Seventeen days ago, as flooding was already affecting Dagestan, Makhachev appealed to regional leadership to address construction issues, stating that Makhakala has turned into one chaotic construction site. Today he reposted content from geographer Dmitry Koryukhin, a school teacher in Dagestan, who shared aerial images of Makhachkala demonstrating what he called an urban catastrophe. The post praises Makhachev for recognizing and highlighting this problem.
