He recently reposted content from geographer Dmitry Koryukhin, a school teacher in Dagestan, who shared aerial photographs of Makhachkala showing the urban disaster created by densely packed, low-quality residential complexes. The post notes that this construction crisis is not unique to Dagestan but affects all of Russia, where massive apartment complexes continue to be built despite stagnant or declining populations.
