Islam Makhachev criticizes chaotic construction development in Dagestan

Seventeen days ago, as flooding was already affecting Dagestan, Makhachev appealed to regional leadership to address construction issues, stating that "Makhkachkala has turned into one chaotic construction site." Today he reposted geography teacher Dmitry Koryukhin, who works in Dagestan and was named Teacher of the Year in 2025, who shared aerial photographs of Makhachkala showing the urban disaster. Makhachev highlighted this ongoing infrastructure crisis affecting the region.
