Eight years ago when Khabib Nurmagomedov won the UFC championship at UFC 223 in Brooklyn, his manager Ali Abdel-Aziz initially forbade a Russian journalist from approaching the team. The journalist, Azamat Bostanov, had interviewed Artem Lobov after the infamous confrontation with Khabib. However, Nurmagomedov intervened, putting his arm around the journalist and telling Abdel-Aziz: "This is our guy, he's just doing his job."
