Four fights announced for UFC Oklahoma City on July 18

The UFC has unveiled the first four matchups for UFC Oklahoma City, set to take place on July 18 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with the promotion still seeking a headliner for the event.

Brad Tavares steps back into the octagon at middleweight against Mark-Andre Barrio. The 38-year-old American, fighting out of Xtreme Couture, carries a 21-13-0 professional record and brings a measured striking game to the cage, averaging 3.41 significant strikes per minute at 43 percent accuracy. Standing six-foot-one with a 74-inch reach, the orthodox veteran has long been a durable presence in the 185-pound division.

In women's strawweight, Dione "The Witch" Barbosa faces Veronica Hardy. Barbosa, a 34-year-old Brazilian fighting out of Kings MMA, holds a 9-4-0 record and brings a well-rounded threat to the bout, averaging 2.4 takedowns and 1.7 submission attempts per 15 minutes alongside a 45 percent striking accuracy rate. Hardy, a 30-year-old Venezuelan southpaw out of Renzo Gracie Academy, owns a 10-5-1 record and is the busier striker of the two, landing 3.06 significant strikes per minute at the same 45 percent accuracy clip.

Amanda Ribas rounds out the announced women's bouts, taking on Fatima Klein at flyweight, while the heavyweight division gets represented by Alvin Hines and Allen Fry Jr., both of whom enter with 0-1 UFC records.
