Tom Aspinall says his eye injury is healing and he will soon receive clearance to return to full contact training. According to Aspinall, the UFC has informed him that his next fight will be against the winner of the Alex Pereira versus Ciryl Gane matchup. Aspinall stated that the two need to fight each other first, recover from the bout, and then when everyone is ready, they can schedule his fight. The heavyweight contender appears to be waiting patiently for the next title opportunity.
