Russian MMA fighters have been permitted to participate in international youth tournaments with their national flag and anthem. Winners of the Russian championship for athletes aged 12 to 17, which took place in Alushta, will be able to compete in IMMAF international events later this year. This development follows IMMAF's decision to restore the membership of the Union of MMA Russia. The announcement was made by Mikhail Degtyarev via his Telegram channel. This marks a significant policy shift allowing young Russian fighters to represent their country openly at international amateur competitions.
