Video footage has surfaced of Khamzat Chimaev's first amateur MMA fight, which took place in Sweden in September 2017. Chimaev finished the bout with a submission in the second round. He went on to win three amateur fights total before transitioning to professional MMA the following year. The footage was posted by the YouTube channel Team Eagle - Dagestan Clan and shows the fight organized by Fight Club Rush, a promotion that still operates today and is broadcast on Fight Pass.
