Gamrot cited examples such as Poland having portable payment terminals in restaurants a decade before they became common in the US. He criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry had he not brought his own food, contrasting this with Polish generosity. Gamrot also noted that American social interactions tend to be superficial, and that his children prefer visiting their grandmother in Poland despite being taken to Florida beaches. While acknowledging the US offers career advantages for athletes, he emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better there.
