Alexander Volkov weighed 116.57 kg against Waldo Cortes-Acosta at 119.74 kg. The UFC 328 weigh-ins are official following Thursday's ceremonial process, with the entire card cleared to compete on Friday night — save for one notable miss from veteran Jeremy Stephens.

Khamzat Chimaev and middleweight champion Sean Strickland both scaled in at 83.91 kg, keeping their main event intact. Strickland, 35, carries a 31-7-0 record into the fight and holds championship gold in the middleweight division. The American out of Xtreme Couture is one of the most active strikers in the sport, landing 6.04 significant strikes per minute at 42 percent accuracy, with a six-foot-one frame and a 76-inch reach.

The flyweight title fight between champion Joshua Van and Tatsuro Taira is also on after both men hit the mark at 56.69 kg. Van, just 24 years old and representing Myanmar, owns a 17-2-0 record and brings elite striking volume to the cage, connecting on 8.84 significant strikes per minute at an impressive 56 percent accuracy rate.

Alexander Volkov and Waldo Cortes-Acosta made weight in the heavyweight division at 116.57 kg and 119.74 kg respectively.

Stephens, 40, will face a financial penalty after stepping on the scale at 72.57 kg — more than two kilograms over the lightweight non-championship limit. The Alliance MMA veteran, who holds a 29-23-0 record, will forfeit 30 percent of his purse, with that portion going to opponent King Green, who came in clean at 70.3 kg. The bout will still proceed.
