Yaroslav Amosov defeated Raul Alvarez by submission in spectacular fashion during the second round. After Alvarez began landing strikes in standup, Amosov secured a leg attack, executed an amplitudinal throw, and immediately locked in an arm triangle that forced Alvarez to tap in just 12 seconds. This marks Amosov's third consecutive submission victory since his loss to Jackson 2.5 years ago, improving his MMA record to 30-1. Notably, Alvarez had never previously been submitted in his career. After the fight, Amosov performed breakdance and called for a top-10 opponent.
