According to MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, a fight between Conor McGregor and Max Holloway is on the "final stretch" and nearly confirmed for July 11. Helwani reports that everything is almost ready and the bout will be signed, formalized, and officially confirmed barring something serious happening to derail it. The plan is close to 100% complete but not quite there yet. Something extraordinary would need to occur for this rematch not to happen on the scheduled date.
