Peyton Song became the third UFC champion finished by Team Alpha Male's signature guillotine choke. Urijah Faber previously submitted Jens Pulver and Dominick Cruz with the technique. Including finishes by Chad Mendes, Joseph Benavidez, and others, Team Alpha Male fighters have recorded over 10 guillotine submissions across top-level promotions.
