Oliveira, ranked third in the lightweight division and eleventh in the pound-for-pound standings, carries that mileage at 36 years old. The Brazilian out of Chute Boxe Diego Lima holds a 37-11-0 record and remains one of the division's most dangerous finishers. He attempts submissions at a rate of 2.6 per 15 minutes and also mixes in takedowns at 2.22 per 15 minutes, making him a constant threat on the mat.

The Czech striker from Jetsaam Gym Brno attacks at a relentless pace, landing 5.69 significant strikes per minute at 55 percent accuracy, with an 80-inch reach giving him significant range over most opponents at 191 cm tall.

Why it matters

  • Volkov and Oliveira remain ranked second and third in their divisions despite carrying the heaviest professional fight logs among all ranked fighters, raising questions about wear and longevity.
  • Oliveira's combination of elite submission volume and takedown output keeps him a legitimate title threat in a deep lightweight division regardless of his fight count.
  • Prochazka's aggressive striking profile and proximity to 40 professional bouts makes his durability a relevant factor as he pursues another run at the light heavyweight title.
