Shara Bullet has disclosed that he contracted dengue fever during a training camp in Thailand ahead of his fight against Barrio, spending roughly two weeks bedridden with a 40-degree fever, severe skin sores, and hair loss. He flew to Abu Dhabi still weakened and went on to win the bout. Immediately after the fight, he underwent emergency surgery and spent two days unable to sleep as his body remained in an adrenaline-fueled state, followed by two weeks of breathing difficulties.
