UFC middleweight Shara Bullet has revealed he contracted dengue fever during a training camp in Thailand ahead of his fight against Barrio, spending approximately two weeks bedridden with a temperature of 40°C, pustules, and hair loss. After briefly believing he had recovered, he relapsed with a fever before ultimately traveling to Abu Dhabi and winning the bout. Following the fight, Bullet was taken into surgery and spent two days without sleep as his body remained in a heightened state, and he experienced breathing difficulties for two weeks post-operation.
