This is a volume table, not a verdict on the best striker. A long UFC career and repeated five-round fights create more chances to add strikes. The per-fight column gives needed context, but it doesn't adjust for bout length or opponent quality.
The per-fight column answers a narrower question: how much recorded output did the fighter average each time? It isn't a pace statistic. A five-round decision can add far more than a first-round finish, even when the shorter performance is cleaner. Joanna Jedrzejczyk's 116.9 leads this top 25, while Holloway averages 111.9.
How this list is counted
AgentMMA adds every significant strike landed in each fighter's UFC round-by-round records. UFC Stats treats all distance strikes as significant. It also counts power strikes in the clinch and on the ground. Light positional shots aren't included, so significant strikes and total strikes aren't interchangeable.
Only UFC bouts count. A fighter's work in another promotion may appear in a labelled professional record, but it never enters this total. An overturned result remains in the bout history as a no-contest, following the UFC Stats result stored by AgentMMA.
There is no five-fight minimum or minimum number of attempts for this career total. The list ranks the raw sum. “Per fight” divides by the bouts with round-by-round data, which matters for a small set of older fights with missing statistics.
The status column reflects the database on the computation date. It doesn't promise another booking.
Every bout contributes its recorded landed strikes, whether the result is a win, loss, draw or no-contest. Attempts, accuracy, strikes absorbed and judging don't change the order. A strike counts once when UFC Stats records it as landed. The measure is easy to audit but narrow: it captures output, not damage or technical quality.
Because the total is cumulative, an active fighter can pass another without a record-setting night. Ordinary three-round volume still matters when it repeats across years.
Other lists can differ because they were updated earlier, use total strikes, include non-UFC fights or handle no-contests differently. The UFC's current record book matches AgentMMA's first three totals. An older Guinness page still gives Holloway 2,071 because its record ends on December 14, 2019. It is an old snapshot, not a competing current total.

Notable names on the list
Max Holloway
Holloway leads the career list with 3,693 and remains the best active fighter by this measure. His 111.9 per fight also shows that the record isn't based on longevity alone. The UFC record book displays the same career total, and his UFC profile still lists him as an active competitor.
Sean Strickland
Strickland is second with 2,430 across 25 UFC fights, or 97.2 per fight. Reuters reported on October 8 that he remained the middleweight champion but was considering a UFC exit over pay. No defense had been booked then. AgentMMA therefore marks him active, while his chance to add to the total remains uncertain.
Angela Hill
Hill ranks third on the full list and first among women with 2,364. Her longevity is central: the Macau bout in May 2026 was her 30th UFC appearance. Sportsnet reported that the win extended her record for the most UFC appearances by a woman. She landed 122 significant strikes that night.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk
Jedrzejczyk finished with 1,754 in only 15 UFC fights. Her 116.9 per fight is the highest rate among these 25 names. She retired after UFC 275 in June 2022 and entered the UFC Hall of Fame's Modern Wing in 2024, so her total is closed.

How solid is this data?
The modern part of the list is strong. AgentMMA checked every fighter across 8,950 UFC bouts in the database. Fights from other promotions are excluded, even when they count toward a fighter's professional record.
Results follow UFC Stats as stored by AgentMMA. If a result was overturned, it counts as a no-contest. Round-by-round stats cover nearly every UFC bout since 2000. A few 1990s bouts have no such data, which can only lower an older fighter's career total.
AgentMMA refreshes this maintained page when completed UFC results change a total or the order. The next new event with imported round statistics may move active fighters, even if it doesn't change the leader.
