Paulo Costa stated that he likes fighting against Russian fighters. The Brazilian most recently defeated Roman Kopylov in his last bout. Prior to that fight, Costa was also scheduled to face both Ikram Aliskerov and Khamzat Chimaev in matchups that ultimately fell through and never materialized. Costa's comments reflect his willingness to take on Russian competition in the middleweight division.
