All fighters successfully made weight for UFC Winnipeg. The main event between Gilbert Burns and Mike Malott is official, with both fighters hitting 77.56 kg (170 lbs). Russian fighters Mark Vologdin and Darya Zheleznyakova also made their contracted weights. Thiago Moises and John Castaneda required second attempts to make weight, but all bouts remain intact. Castaneda had requested a catchweight of 63.04 kg the night before, which Vologdin accepted, and Castaneda will forfeit 30% of his purse to Vologdin as a result.
