Featherweight contender Yussef Zalal has set his sights on breaking Charles Oliveira's record for most submissions in the featherweight division, which stands at six. Zalal currently has four submissions in the division and says he needs two more victories to tie the record. He expressed particular interest in submitting Aljamain Sterling, noting that Sterling has never been submitted in his career and has only been finished twice by TKO and knockout. Zalal believes becoming the first to submit Sterling would be a significant accomplishment. He saw the graphic during Oliveira's fight with Max Holloway and immediately set this goal for himself.
