Paddy Pimblett versus Renato Moicano (Saint-Denis) has been officially announced for UFC 329 on July 11. According to Ariel Helwani, the UFC is planning to book Max Holloway versus Conor McGregor for the same UFC 329 card, as well as Islam Makhachev versus Ian Garry for UFC 330. Gadzhi Azizyan, coach to several fighters including Sergei Pavlovich, stated he would like a rematch with Alexander Volkov, claiming Volkov only ran during their first fight and that Pavlovich just needs to change tactics to win. Anatoly Malykhin explained why he won't move to the UFC despite receiving offers, saying he feels loyalty to his current promotion's boss who gave him opportunities when no one else would, and that he would only consider leaving if told he's no longer needed. Alex Pereira and Max Holloway will appear on the cover of UFC 6 video game, with Pereira on the base version and Holloway on the deluxe edition.
Paddy Pimblett will meet Renato Moicano at UFC 329 on July 11, with the bout now officially confirmed. The card is shaping up to be one of the year's most anticipated events, with reports of further high-profile matchups also in the works for the same night.

According to journalist Ariel Helwani, the UFC is planning to book Max Holloway against Conor McGregor as part of the UFC 329 card. Holloway, who carries a 27-9 record and is ranked fourth in the lightweight division and ninth in the pound-for-pound standings, is one of the sport's most prolific strikers. The 34-year-old American, who trains out of Gracie Technics, lands 7.2 significant strikes per minute at 48 percent accuracy. He is also set to appear on the cover of the UFC 6 video game, featuring on the deluxe edition.

Helwani also reports that reigning pound-for-pound champion Islam Makhachev is being targeted to face Ian Garry at UFC 330. Makhachev, 34, holds a 28-1 record and is currently competing at welterweight. The Russian, who trains with Eagles MMA, is a dominant grappler, averaging 3.2 takedowns and 1.1 submission attempts per 15 minutes, while also posting a 58 percent striking accuracy.

In the heavyweight division, coach Gadzhi Azizyan — who works with Sergei Pavlovich among others — has expressed a desire for Pavlovich to run back his previous bout with Alexander Volkov. Azizyan claimed Volkov simply avoided engagement in their first meeting and believes a change in tactics would be enough for Pavlovich to earn a different result. Volkov, ranked first in the heavyweight division at 37 years old, holds a 40-11 record and stands six-foot-seven with an 80-inch reach.

Why it matters
- UFC 329 is building into a stacked card with the confirmed Pimblett-Moicano fight and a reported Holloway-McGregor booking
- Makhachev versus Garry at UFC 330 would put the pound-for-pound king in a high-stakes welterweight title defense
- A Pavlovich-Volkov rematch would carry significant implications at the top of a stacked heavyweight division
