Khamzat Chimaev's name has been removed from the list of active undefeated fighters with ten or more wins after the middleweight contender suffered his first professional loss at UFC 328 on May 9, 2026. Chimaev fell to Sean Strickland via split decision, a result that ended one of MMA's most closely watched unbeaten streaks.

Chimaev, known as "Borz," entered the fight carrying a 15-0 record and held the number-one ranking in the middleweight division, with a spot at number ten on the pound-for-pound charts. The 32-year-old fighting out of the UAE and training at Allstars Training Center had built his reputation on relentless pressure, an elite takedown rate of 5.29 per fifteen minutes, and a striking accuracy of 60 percent. His record now stands at 15-1.

Strickland, the reigning middleweight champion, improved to 31-7 with the victory. The 35-year-old American out of Xtreme Couture is one of the division's most active strikers, averaging 6.04 significant strikes per minute, and brings a six-foot-one frame with a 76-inch reach to bear in a high-output orthodox style.

The undefeated list itself also saw two additions following UFC 328. Baisangur Susurkayev moved to 12-0 after submitting Jhordan Santos, while Alikhan Musaev entered the rankings at 11-0 following his victory over Furkhat Komilov at ACA 203. The list tracks active fighters who have not been inactive for more than two years and pulls records from both Tapology and Sherdog, covering major promotions including the UFC, Bellator, ONE Championship, PFL, and ACA.
