Andreas Gustafsson has been cut from the UFC roster after withdrawing from his fight against Daniil Donchenko due to heart problems, including atrial fibrillation and recurrent tachycardia. UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby informed Gustafsson of the decision, stating the promotion had to let him go for the time being. Shelby left the door open for Gustafsson's return if he receives full medical clearance from his own physicians as well as UFC doctors and athletic commissions.
