Max Holloway's victory at UFC 329 made him the 20th fighter in UFC history to record wins in three different weight classes. He also joined Conor McGregor, Jared Cannonier, and Robert Whittaker as only the fourth fighter to earn a KO or TKO finish in three separate weight divisions.
Max Holloway cemented his place in UFC history on July 11, 2026, at UFC 329, becoming the 20th fighter in the promotion's history to record victories in three different weight classes.

The 34-year-old Hawaiian also joined an even more exclusive group with the performance. Holloway became only the fourth fighter ever to finish opponents by KO or TKO across three separate weight divisions, joining Conor McGregor, Jared Cannonier, and Robert Whittaker in that distinction.

Holloway, who competes at lightweight and holds the number four ranking in that division as well as a top-ten pound-for-pound spot at number nine, carries a professional record of 28-9. Fighting out of Gracie Technics in an orthodox stance, he stands five-foot-eleven with a 69-inch reach. His output inside the cage is among the most prolific in the sport, averaging 6.92 significant strikes landed per minute at 48 percent accuracy.
Cannonier, one of the three fighters Holloway joined in the multi-division KO club, is a 42-year-old switch-stance middleweight ranked ninth in his division with an 18-9 record. Fighting out of MMA Lab, he holds a 77-inch reach and lands 4.42 significant strikes per minute with 49 percent accuracy.

Whittaker, the other member of that group, is a 35-year-old Australian fighting out of PMA Super Martial Arts. The sixth-ranked middleweight owns a 28-9 record and stands six feet tall with a 73-inch reach, averaging 4.41 significant strikes per minute.

Why it matters
- Holloway's three-division win record places him among only 19 other fighters in the entire history of the UFC to achieve the feat.
- His membership in the multi-division KO finisher group is even rarer, shared with just McGregor, Cannonier, and Whittaker.
- The milestone reinforces Holloway's standing as one of the most versatile and dangerous strikers across multiple weight classes in the promotion.
