Henry Cejudo and Song Yadong will meet in the main event of RAF 15 in Chicago, MMA Fighting reported. The matchup has been announced as the card's headliner, and it sets up a second meeting between two men who have already shared a cage.

Song won the first fight on February 22, 2025, taking a unanimous decision over Cejudo at UFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs. Song. Cejudo has not won since. He followed that loss with another unanimous decision defeat, to Payton Talbott at UFC 323 on December 6, 2025. That makes three straight recorded losses by decision, including a defeat to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 298 in February 2024.

Cejudo, a 39-year-old American who trains with Fight Ready, holds a 16-6-0 record. He lands 3.82 significant strikes per minute at 47 percent accuracy and averages 1.84 takedowns per 15 minutes. He is the shorter man at five-foot-four with a 64-inch reach.

Song, 28, is 24-9-1 and sits third in the bantamweight rankings. He arrives in strong form, having won his last two recorded fights by finish: a second-round submission of Deiveson Figueiredo on May 30, 2026, and a second-round KO/TKO of Umar Nurmagomedov on August 29, 2026. His most recent recorded loss was a unanimous decision to Sean O'Malley at UFC 324 in January 2026.

Why it matters

  • Song has the edge in striking volume, landing 4.26 significant strikes per minute against Cejudo's 3.82, though Cejudo is the more accurate striker, 47 percent to 43 percent.
  • Cejudo's takedown rate of 1.84 per 15 minutes is more than double Song's 0.79, a gap that could shape how the rematch is fought.
  • Song is five inches taller and holds a three-inch reach advantage, at 67 inches to Cejudo's 64.
  • The first fight went the distance and went Song's way, so Cejudo will be looking to change the outcome.

The 11-year age gap and the contrast in recent form give the rematch a clear storyline: Song is coming off two finishes, while Cejudo is trying to end a skid of three straight decision losses.
