Ivan Gnizditskiy is set to face Uran Satybaldiev at UFC Saudi Arabia on December 5, a new addition to the card.

Satybaldiev, nicknamed "Gorilla," is a 32-year-old Kyrgyz fighter with a 9-1 record who trains with the Uluu Kyrgyz Team. He is an orthodox fighter who stands six-foot-four, or 193 cm, with a 79-inch (201 cm) reach. His most recent recorded fight came on August 23, 2025, when he submitted Diyar Nurgozhay in the first round at UFC Fight Night: Walker vs. Zhang. That win followed a unanimous decision loss to Martin Buday on April 5, 2025, at UFC Fight Night: Emmett vs. Murphy, the only defeat on his record.

Satybaldiev's numbers point to a fighter who leans on the grappling game more than on volume striking. He lands 2.14 significant strikes per minute with 25 percent accuracy, and he averages 1.7 submission attempts per 15 minutes. He has not attempted a takedown in his recorded UFC fights, so his submission threat comes from scrambles and positions rather than shot entries.

Gnizditskiy is 30 years old and unbeaten at 5-0. Our records do not yet carry UFC striking or grappling statistics for him, which is consistent with a fighter whose profile is still being built at this level.

Why it matters

  • Age gap: Satybaldiev is two years older than Gnizditskiy, 32 to 30.
  • Record contrast: a nine-fight veteran with one loss meets an undefeated fighter with five bouts on his record.
  • Style question: Satybaldiev's submission-heavy output sets up a test of how the unbeaten Gnizditskiy handles a long, 79-inch-reach opponent who hunts for finishes.
  • Recent form: Satybaldiev is coming off a first-round submission win, while his only loss was a three-round decision.

The fight is a fresh addition to the December 5 card in Saudi Arabia.
